The Friends of Hospice
Since 1986 Friends of Hospice has carried out its mission to raise funds for Talbot Hospice by presenting the annual Festival of Trees. This event continues to be immensely successful and is made possible through the work of hundreds of volunteers. The Festival annually assists the operating budget for Talbot Hospice which benefits terminally ill patients and families in Talbot County facing life limiting illness.
The Friends of Hospice has donated over 2.8 million dollars to Talbot Hospice all generated from the Annual Festival of Trees event.
Each year for the past 30 years, a group of dedicated volunteers
has produced an incredible community event:
The Festival of Trees
The Festival kicks off our holiday season with something for everyone.
Decorated trees, dancing, shopping, carolers,
and even a walk/run the day after Thanksgiving.
